SUSTAINABILITY AT FEIMEC

As the leading event for the machinery and equipment industry in Latin America, FEIMEC reaffirms its commitment to sustainability. For us, balancing environmental awareness, social equity, and economic viability is more than a goal; it is our responsibility to the future.

We focus on energy efficiency, sustainable raw materials, and the development of human-centered technologies. FEIMEC is the ultimate platform to transform these challenges into real practices, uniting the industry in a collective movement for a sustainable future. Join us in this transformation.

Sustainability at Informa Markets

FEIMEC is part of Informa Markets and the Informa Group. Sustainability at Informa focuses on the long-term impacts we have on customers, colleagues, the communities where we work, and the environment. For this reason, Informa developed the FasterForward approach to sustainable business.

Informa's goal is to become an increasingly sustainable and impactful business. Through the FasterForward program, we are incorporating sustainability into everything we do and taking advantage of opportunities to help our customers and markets do the same.

FasterForward is a three-part program with ambitious commitments and a wide range of activities, encompassing Informa's business operations, our brands and products, and our broader community impact.

When it comes to sustainability, we are moving faster.

Created by Informa in 2019, Better Stands is a global program aimed at eliminating stand waste.

To achieve this, we encourage exhibitors and stand builders to replace disposable (single use) stands with reusable ones, significantly reducing environmental impact

Why Join Better Stands?

Disposable stands account for more than 70% of the waste generated at events, causing significant environmental problems. Better Stands was created to address this issue, aiming to transform events into examples of sustainability and safety.

Informa continues to be recognized as a leader in sustainability, reflecting its commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
